Just an opinion.....votes should be limited to one vote for each photo period...it shouldn't be a popularity contest to see who can get the most people to vote for you.  The photos should be chosen on merit. Is someone going to tell me some of the top vote results are great photos? 

We were able to vote in our home Tara, not sure why yours didn't.  Strange - but if they do it by IP all our votes will be eliminated except when we used other computers not part of our IP.

I never thought that comments counted towards votes. I don't think it says so in the rules. I gather you get points for making comments which go towards the profile rank, not the photo scores. I do both, vote and comment. I also believe multiple people in one home, even on the same computer can vote. You just need to be sure you log off the SPCA site in between.

Hey Linda,When you go from one page to the other - click on the picture - right hand click & say open in another tab - what it does it creates a new tab but doesn't change the page you are looking at - so this way you can remain on page 5 & open as many tabs for the pictures you want to vote for & then go on to the next page etc. Hope you understand what I'm babbling about lol.Joelle

If the comments were not supposed to count as votes, this site should have repaired this problem since the start and have some transparency! I have been commenting for a lot of people every day thinking I was giving them votes and not necessarily clicking on VOTE NOW ( that I now realize do not count)! As well as all of the friendly people voting for my Picasso the same way... I'm sad about all the energy I put into this.

What the heck, for the person I am supporting to lose over 400 points.  Why am i supporting this and sending the information out on a regular basis if all the votes I have made are taken away plus those of my friends!

I know what you mean Tara, we are 8 in our home and we were able to vote but from what I gather all these votes were eliminated - would have been nice to know that only 1 IP per vote was allowed. 

There has been a lot of cheating during this contest actually, but I'm figuring this adjustment was because they took away votes that were created when we commented, it took me a while this morning to figure that out. A blog update would have been nice, instead of coming in to the shock of missing over 300 points.

What happened to all our votes? I'm kinda annoyed with the amount of cheating going on in this contest. If it wasn't less then a week away I would pull my pictures :(

Jerin, I haven't noticed any freezing, but I have found that the page takes a while to load sometimes. Once you click "submit" on your comment, try just reloading the page to see your new post. It sounds like a hassle, but it's just a suggestion. I'm sure someone else would be able to think of an easier solution. :)

What is going on with the freezing!?

Just wondering if you are on page 17 of 67 and submitting comments on picture is there any way not to go all the back to page 1?  It would be helpful if after you comment it would bring you back to the same page you were on.  I'm having a lot of fun looking at the beautiful pictures and reading the comments.  

My points are frozen again today

I was trying to vote for my dog's today.. as I thought I was allowed to and then I go on to vote for lot's of others to get points and leave coments.. So i went to vote for my 3 pics which I thought I was allowed to.. and it said i voted today and to come back tomorrow. Am I allowed to click on my own pics' ?  Cause I def know Im not going to get a high ranking.. i joined to late.. But am enjoying looking at all the animal lovers out there and getting and receiving comments. :)

My points have frozen today :( at a crucial moment too someone has passed me and now has a good lead :( That video would be handy ....

I think someone found the tricks there was a huge jump in points today from one person!
