Animal Photo Contest

The Alberta SPCA proudly presents the annual Animal Lovers Photo Contest. Imagine seeing your animal photo in the 2013 Alberta SPCA calendar!

Send in your original images of domestic animals for a chance to have your photo published! Live on a farm? In addition to dogs and cats we really want to see lots of pictures of horses, cows, pigs, sheep and every other kind of animal found on a farm.

The Animal Lovers Photo Contest invites all levels of photographers—from amateur to professional—to participate. Contestants will have the chance to see their image(s) published in our next calendar and on our websites.

No photos necessary—you can also win a great prize just for sharing the contest on social media networks!

Help raise awareness about animal welfare

Whether you submit a photo or join in the voting, your participation in this contest helps the Alberta SPCA raise awareness about animal welfare. Please keep voting, sharing photos, “liking” our Facebook page and telling your friends about the photo contest and the work of the Alberta SPCA. The more people who get involved, the more we can do to improve animal welfare in Alberta.

Prizes

The best photos will be selected to appear in the 2013 Alberta SPCA calendar. A Panasonic HD waterproof camcorder and a Kindle Touch are also up for grabs for the photo that receives the most votes and for the person who earns the most social points. Even if you don't enter a photo in the contest, you can still be a winner. We will contact the prize winners once the photos have been selected and the voting has been totalled and verified. The list of winners will be posted on the website.
